Safety first

If there is a fire or you suspect one, follow your site fire plan, evacuate and call 999. Don't wait for us or fill in a form first. Never open panels, reset an unexplained alarm or disable protection. From a safe place, an authorised person may read and photograph the closed panel, then contact your competent maintenance provider.

What we install

New systems, replacements and upgrades

Whether you need a first system for a new fit-out, a replacement for an ageing panel, or an upgrade from conventional to addressable, we survey the building, design to the right BS 5839 category, and install with commissioning and handover documentation.

Family-run engineers, same Essex geography we already cover for gates, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms. For region detail see installation in Essex.

System types

Conventional, addressable and wireless

We design and install the system type that fits the building, the fire risk assessment and how you need the panel to behave day to day.

Conventional

Zones rather than individual device addresses. Still the right choice for many smaller commercial premises and straightforward layouts.

Addressable

Each device has its own address, so the panel names the exact detector or call point. Better for larger or more complex buildings.

Wireless / hybrid

Purpose-built fire radio devices can cut cable runs in occupied or sensitive buildings. We only recommend them where a survey supports it.

Categories M, L and P

Manual (M), life protection (L1–L5) and property protection (P1/P2) categories come from your fire risk assessment. We design to the category you need.

How we work

From survey to handover

Design, supply, installation and commissioning — a clear path from first visit to a working system with documentation.

1. Site survey

We walk the building with you, review your fire risk assessment where you have one, and note escape routes, building use and any existing equipment.

2. Design & quote

We propose a BS 5839-aligned design at the right category, with a clear written quotation before work starts.

3. Supply & installation

Family-run engineers supply and install detection, call points, sounders and the control panel, phased around your trading hours where we can.

4. Commissioning & handover

Devices are tested, cause-and-effect proved where required, and the system is handed over with documentation and user guidance.

Who we help

Sectors we design and service for

Offices, retail, industrial units, schools, care and hospitality, landlords and managing agents, and larger homes where a proper fire alarm is required.

Commercial & industrial

Offices, warehouses, workshops and multi-tenant units that need clear zone identification and reliable warning.

Education & care

Schools, nurseries and care premises where the fire risk assessment drives category and visit frequency.

Retail & hospitality

Shops, restaurants, hotels and guest houses that need phased works around trading and guests.

Landlords & HMOs

Domestic systems use the appropriate BS 5839-6 grade and coverage category; for HMOs and mixed-use premises the approach is agreed from the fire strategy, assessment, licensing conditions and competent design advice.
