Please read these terms before you order. They explain who we are, how we sell and deliver products, your right to change your mind, and what happens if something goes wrong. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
Charged Services Ltd
13 Fleming Road, Chafford Hundred, Grays RM16 6YA
Company Registration Number: 12909823 · VAT Registration Number: GB359920756
Email: [email protected] · Phone: 01375 886299
These terms apply when you buy products as a consumer from our online shop at charged.services/shop. They do not cover installation work, which we quote for separately. If you are buying for a business, please contact us first.
2. Products and prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. UK delivery is free on all shop items. The total you pay is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Product images are for illustration. We describe products as accurately as we can using information from their manufacturers. If we have made an obvious mistake with a price, we will contact you before dispatch and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
3. Ordering and payment
When you press Checkout securely in your basket (or Buy now, which adds the item to your basket first), you are taken to a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe. Your card details are entered with Stripe and are never sent to or stored by Charged Services. You will receive an email receipt when your payment is taken.
Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. If we cannot supply a product, for example because it is out of stock, we will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses, and delivery is free on all shop items. Orders are dispatched and delivered by Amazon from their UK warehouse, the same fast delivery as ordering on Amazon, free on every order. Delivery is usually within 2 to 3 working days of dispatch.
Orders may be packed and sent by our fulfilment partner from UK stock. We will deliver without undue delay and in any case within 30 days of the contract unless we agree otherwise with you. If we cannot do this, you can treat the contract as ended and get a full refund.
The products are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to someone you name to take them.
5. Your right to cancel (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start the day after you receive the goods. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, they start the day after the last item arrives. You can also cancel any time before your order arrives.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email to [email protected], by phone on 01375 886299, or by post to the address above. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
Returning the goods
Send the goods back to us, or hand them to someone we authorise to collect them, within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. We will tell you where to send them. Who pays return postage: to be confirmed by Chris
Your refund
We will refund the price you paid, using the same payment method. We will refund you within 14 days of getting the goods back, or within 14 days of you showing us proof that you have sent them back, whichever is sooner. If you cancel before the goods are sent, we will refund you within 14 days of you telling us.
You may handle the goods as you would in a shop to see what they are and how they work. If they have been handled more than that, for example installed, wired in or damaged, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

6. If something is faulty
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- Up to 30 days after delivery, you can reject them and get a full refund.
- Up to six months after delivery, if a fault appears we will repair or replace the item. If that is not possible, or the repair or replacement does not fix the problem, you can have a refund or a price reduction. Faults found in this period are presumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise.
- After six months, you may need to show the fault was there when the goods were delivered.
- You can claim for faulty goods for up to six years after delivery (five years in Scotland).
We will pay reasonable costs of returning faulty goods. Please contact us or call 01375 886299 first so we can help find the fault; many problems can be solved over the phone.
Remootio 3 bought from us can be registered for our 12-month UK warranty. Any warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights.
7. Installation and safety
Gate and garage door automation equipment should be installed by a competent person, following the manufacturer’s instructions and safety warnings. Photocells are safety devices and must be tested after fitting. Our support guides explain how to install and wire our products, and we are happy to give advice by phone.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that results from installing or using a product against the instructions supplied with it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
9. Complaints and the law
If you are unhappy, contact us at [email protected] or on 01375 886299 and we will try to put things right.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home country.
How we use your personal data, including the details you give at checkout, is explained in our privacy policy.
